A Chatty Catch-Up | January 2021

Happy February everyone, congratulations for surviving all 257 days of January!! January always feels so long, doesn’t it? But now it’s over, we have spring to look forward to and lighter evenings!!

Even though January dragged and felt super slow, I still managed to find a list of good things about it πŸ˜€ Here’s what I got up to πŸ™‚

Food:

One of my favourite meals in January was duck pancakes with homemade egg fried rice!! I ted to buy a pack from a supermarket because you get the duck, the hoisin sauce and the pancakes! You just need to get spring onions and a cucumber and you’re all set πŸ™‚

What I loved:

I finally finished my “I Love Winter” jigsaw puzzle, which means I can now crack open the jigsaw puzzle that J got me for Christmas. It’s the world’s most difficult puzzle because it’s double-sided with the same picture of cats on both sides!! I can’t wait to start and and yell at it for being a stupid puzzle!! (Does anyone else do this?)

I dyed my hair again, although this time I added some Crimson Red to the Mystic Purple (both Knight & Wilson). It’s come out a lot darker and I love it πŸ™‚

I spend the majority of Christmas not leaving the house, mostly through laziness, although partly due to the weather! We’ve had some non-rainy days so I started going for walks again and it was lovely seeing the snowdrops in the park!

Dermalogica very kindly sent me their brand new product; the neck contour cream! It has a roller applicator and it trains the neck to be tighter, smoother, more toned and contoured!! I can’t wait to try it out properly and let you know what I think πŸ™‚

I pledged for an enamel pin on Kickstarter and it’s one of the most beautiful pins I own. It’s from BlueLemonInc, who I’ve bought loads of pins from previously. It’s the castle from Tangled with the lanterns and the sun pattern on it πŸ™‚

Finally, don’t forget to check out my amazing advertisers:

Kathleen Natural is a premium skin care brand, based in the UK, who have a passion for all things natural and organic. They have an incredible range of products and I’ve reviewed the Illuminating Serum, the Sonic Facial Cleanser and their brand new shower gels and body oils on my blog πŸ™‚ They’re also on Twitter and Instagram as well 🌸🌸🌸
